**Carol Green was also one of three jurors for the exhibition that included Michael W. Monroe and Christiane Michaela Vincent. Jurors who selected the award winning pieces on October 21, 2006, were Carol Green, Christiane M. Vincent and Adela Akers. Adela Akers is also the exhibition organizer's arts counsel and served as lead juror in the first Ashes to Art exhibition at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center Firehouse in 2001, presented by FUNERIA.
